For the purpose of educating the community at large about the beautiful culture of the Hispanic population and to better integrate the gap of communities dealing with language and ethnicity barriers.

The festival is a fundraiser for several programs such as educating the Hispanic population on health and social resources available like: diabetes, tutorial support in schools etc.
